Big Flavour were initially brought in to consult on how Loch Ness Lodge, a popular luxury hotel near Inverness, could increase direct revenue during high season and drive incremental bookings across all channels during the quieter, winter months. From this consultancy we were able to identify “quick wins” which the hotel could take advantage of in the short term. Taking a joined up approach to digital communications meant seasonal offers could be promoted across all channels whilst ensuring the hotel’s own website was the most desirable place for guests to book. In the longer term, an overhaul of the website was recommended in order to maximise user conversion rates and allow Big Flavour and the hotel team to be more agile and responsive when it came to making changes and updates. Big Flavour were chosen as the web development partner for this project and the new website is due to go live imminently.
